SHAMELESSLY loving Port Elizabeth

One wonderful day in PE

KLuK CGDT was recently invited to showcase their latest collection in Port Elizabeth. The last time the brand showed in PE was in 2006 for Mohair. The team felt it was time to return and an invitation like this, made it all the more enticing. On Tuesday 24 June, we hopped on a plane to the east coast for a 24 hour twirl in The Friendly City. We were truly amazed by the warm reception.

A women’s group called the 100 club hosted Malcolm and Christiaan to a sold-out attendance at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum. KLuK CGDT showcased 20 looks from our latest SHAMELESS collection. Once the show was done, guests were invited to shop@kluk as they enjoyed their sweet and sushi buffet.

Michelle Brown from 100 Club for inviting the designers and organising the event, Maryna from Calyx for the rails, steamer and hangers, Liesel (A KLuK CGDT intern from 2008 and current Calyx designer) for her assistance backstage and our charming models, not to mention their sleek hair and exquisite make up.

And finally, THANK YOU to Siya and The Boardwalk Hotel and Casino/ A Million Thrills for accommodating us in their luxury suits with the most exquisite view of the Indian Ocean.

PE you were wonderful, we look forward to visiting you again soon x

Maryna, Malcolm, Liesel and CGDT
