The search for South Africa’s next top international model was brought to a close when Johannesburg’s Bianca Rentzke (17) was announced the winner of the Elite Model Look South Africa at a glittering Finale held at the Sandton Convention Centre last night (October 31).
The world’s largest and most renowned international modelling contest, the Elite Model Look holds contests around the world and was brought to South Africa by Da Banda Model Management. As winner of Elite Model Look South Africa Bianca will automatically win a contract with Da Banda Model Management and then go on to taste some international fame by representing South Africa in the prestigious Elite Model Look World Final to be held in China in November.
“Following a successful search in beautiful Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, and training our talented Top 10 in our model boot camp, we are thrilled to announce the winner of Elite Model Look South Africa 2013. We take great pride in introducing Bianca Rentzke to the international runway, starting next month in Shanghai at the Elite Model Look World Final,” says Hugo Tiburccio of Da Banda Model Management.
“Bianca’s natural beauty and grace is combined with her determination, vibrant personality, humility and a disciplined work ethic, all traits which contribute to success in the modelling industry,” adds Hugo.
Celebrities, fashion icons and modelling industry experts as well as VIP guests were spectators at the prestigious Finale where the official Elite Model Look South Africa’s Top 10 models walked the ramp in three fashion shows (ready-to-wear by Thula Sindi, swim-wear by Banana Moon and couture by KLÛK CGDT) before the much-anticipated announcement of the winner of Elite Model Look South Africa was made by Former Miss Universe, Leila Lopes and Expresso Show’s Ewan Strydom.
